As someone who writes a lot about QNET India and the products that they sell, I think it is only justifiable that I should talk about the news of QNET scams that you see online or on paper.

The direct selling network marketing industry as a whole has been filled with allegations of scams and misinterpretations. While many of these allegations are just lies and malicious attempts to ruin the industry’s reputation, there is some truth to it. Just maybe not the way you think!

What is the QNET Scam?

The Myth of QNet Scam | QNet India

As much as I can see from my meagre research on Google, most cases of the so-called scam in QNET (as well as most other direct selling industry) stems from allegations that the new recruits were lied to about the benefits of the products as well as the opportunities in direct selling. But the way I see it, it is less to do with the direct selling network marketing company and more to do with direct sellers who take advantage of gullible people.

Some direct sellers have no qualms when it comes to lying to their prospective clients about the benefits of a product they are trying to sell or a business opportunity that they are trying to pitch. But there are bad apples in every industry. As someone who has seen hundreds of successful QNET direct sellers in real life, I can tell you with full confidence that these are only a small group of people.

Then there is also the allegation that the business is a pyramid scheme or a money circulation scheme. This couldn’t be further from the truth. QNET and the most reputable players in the direct selling business do not pay you to recruit more people into the business. The only reason to get more people into your sales team and to expand your network is so that you may sell more products faster. Also, pyramid schemes are illegal in most countries like India, while QNET is a registered business in India, Hong Kong, Singapore and many more countries around the world.

There are also allegations about people not receiving refunds for products that they no longer want or have a change of mind in.

QNET India Scam: The Truth

Any giant company like QNET is bound to have its haters. Just look at how many people are against Facebook and Twitter. But unlike the latter cases, the case with QNET is different. The allegations about QNET and other direct selling moguls come from people who have either joined the business hoping for an easy payday or from people who joined and failed because they did not put in the required effort. There are also sure people who are jealous of what others have accomplished with the business and just want to run down the name of the company.

What has QNET done to counter these scams?

There is a great need for new regulations and rules in the direct selling industry. And QNET has always been driving for change and improving transparency and accountability in the business. Thankfully, the government of India is already working on new and updated norms for the business.

As for the cases of direct sellers misinterpreting or over-exaggerating the benefits of the products and the business, QNET has strict rules and codes of conduct that is aimed at preventing them. QNET also has many resources like the QBuzz website, Journey with QNET, BYOB QNET and QNET for Life that will help you learn the truth about the business and the products that they sell.

QNET also has some of the best and robust refund policies of all companies in the direct selling industry. But problems arise when people try to return their products after their refund period has expired and complained about it. No established business or company will make refunds for products after the refund period has passed. That’s not how businesses work!

Why the truth about QNET India scams matter?

We Can Fix It: Saving the Truth from the Internet | by Sunil Paul | Medium

Direct selling companies like QNET has helped millions of people around the world in more ways than one. It is the premium provider of some of the best healthcare supplements in the form of Nutriplus, luxury watches like CHAIROS and Mugnier, as well as air purifiers from SHARP and water purifiers from MyHomePlus Cuckoo.

By spreading lies about the company, people are causing others that believe in the business and benefit from it to lose confidence and be ostracised. It also ruins the reputation of the business and brings it under a negative light.

By spreading misinformation about the business, people are affecting how well a QNET seller is able to sell their product in the market. In a way, they are literally stealing food from their mouths and affecting how they provide for their family and loved ones.

Yes, I will be the first to admit that there are people within the direct selling industry that use malicious techniques to make a sale and to build their network. But it is important to get them in front of the proper authorities and not to falsely shame an entire industry that has been helping people for decades.

So, that was my honest and brutal take on QNET India scams and why I think it is a scourge on the industry. If you think that I might have missed out on something, or if there is more to it than what I think I know, I am always happy to read your thoughts through the comment section.
